I own 3 of them and am very well pleased. I also own a VM2 that is great. a-bareWhen one gets too soft and streched out or is too supple from oiling it can be stiffened using beeswax. I take a propane torch/heat gun and melt beeswax directly into the leather holsters. It will suck it up like a sponge when hot, fan the flame directly on the leather holsters while wiping the wax on. Makes the sling nice and stiff and it stays tight! The hot sun doesn’t affect it at all but if it’s really cold the sling will be almost too stiff until you use it a few times – practice at home will break it in fine. Did this earlier this year as my old sling was worn out and I couldn’t afford a new one at the time. I still haven’t bought a new one, I like how it works now better than ever. ajroyer
