2/20/2012 1:46:08 AM Got a Leupold 2X M8. Nice scope, but they are quite different to a standard optic. Not much FOV in comparison to a regular scope, but it allows both eyes to see more of what’s going on outside theAR-15 scope(if that makes sense). Unfortunately I bought it for a revolver, but it doesn’t have enough eye-relief to be comfortable on one. Previous owner had it fitted to a .45-70 – it’s a toughAR-15 scopefor something so lightweight. I like it enough to want a rifle it’ll work with, but it has a matt silver finish which would look awful on a blued firearm. Not sure what the Burris versions are like, although I don’t think their high-end AR-15 scopes are as good as Leupold, and their lower-end AR-15 scopes are nothing special.
