Rifle Scopes

6/2/2010 2:08:11 AM I just got aTR24R-Red Triangle Post 1-4x-after sighting in and shooting at steel plates and gongs from 50yds, 75yds, 100, 150 and 227,( yes, 227-lasered) the triangle was super fast. I kept up with my buddies who had Meoptas and ACOGs. Turn down the brightness and the tip proved very sharp. After almost 200 rounds of prone sighting in, standing 6inch steel, ready position standing strings and general wringing out my new Rifle Scopes I was still able to “shoot the square” and a 10 shot group in the center that was under 4inches and keep the 5 shot groups in the small diamonds to 3-4 inchs. This was from a rest, ammo was PMC Bronze 55 grain, gun was a Noveske N4 light 16 inch 1-7 twist. Never did I think the reticle held me back, more like it was me. I looked thru the German No.4 in the store but for 3-gun-moving around/fast shooting, this reticle seemed too “busy” for me. The post of the triangle does not block much in my opinion, I just think of it as a see-thru front sight with a bright red tip. I hav’nt really wrung it out on real close stuff, 5-25 yards on 1x but the one thing it did have over my buddies 4×32 ACOG was that on real close stuff, it still had a clear focus. I really like this scope.
